Melissa Turpin
President
Melissa is our founder and fearless leader. In 2000 she envisioned a place where local interior designers could find the high end furniture, fabrics and interior products they would need. Today the Resource Room is that one stop location. Not only does Melissa oversee the Resource Room, to all who know her - is the amazing President of Unique Tile. Established in 1988 Unique Tile provides the flooring and marble surfaces for large projects throughout the Midwest.
Mecalynn Willson
Showroom Manager
Mecalynn is the real deal. She’s here to help local designers discover the wide variety of products for a wide variety of needs. With a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design and minor in construction management she well suited as our showroom manager. We call her our “Style Librarian” because she knows where, how and what when in comes to matching products to projects.
Doug Popejoy
Creative Director
After 20 years in the South Florida corporate world, Doug found a peaceful life in the little down of Nixa. And then, he found a home on the Resource Room team. In his previous business Doug spent several decades creating campaigns and branding for his many fortune 500 clients. Today Doug brings this wealth of experience in design, branding and marketing management to the Resource Room.
